In 2004, partners in the Toronto Region New Mobility HUB Network working group came together to explore the potential for New Mobility HUBs in the GTA. Their activities included: an operational test at Exhibition Place, a public survey, and a Feasibility Report. This working group continues to meet regularly to explore Phase II of the HUBs project: an interconnected network of HUBs across the city and surrounding region. Group activities include:

Hosting a Breakfast Forum in March 2007 to provide the opportunity to learn about successful initiatives happening elsewhere and catalyze cross-pollination of the HUB with other sustainable transportation projects in the City;

Linking other multi-modal sites with the Exhibition Place HUB to create a Network of HUBs, exploring the brand potential for New Mobility HUBs, and promoting the Network to community leaders, the public, service providers, and potential vendors.
